Push away the pain and live again.

In the shadows is where you find it

The silent desires of the heart

It tries to reach the light but can't

Something holds it back in the dark

 

It wants to be seen

But fear keeps it hidden

Just give it a chance

Let it evolve just this once

 

Why not let the sorrow go?

Bring a ray of hope for tomorrow

Pushing away something real

Won't help you heal.

 

Besides if you keep it in

What is the point of living?

So stop bleeding within

Shine a light into the dark

Let the desires find light

 

You know you deserve to smile

Trust that it will get better after awhile

If you just fight back

Open your eyes and breath in new life

 

Or you will remain

Bleeding within

Ooo, this was really good. Loved how u made a road, paved it, and created a door that leads to happiness with this poem. It's like u paved a choice. Either continue down the same old path, or hop onto another road where things come to life, and is bright and loving. Very thought-provoking, and beautiful :)
