Kite Parade

Kite Parade

A Poem by Lady M

Kite Parade
Thin and grey.
Paper smile.
The wind could blow it in.
Make it fly away.
A paper kite on display.
Soaring high.
Just for you.
I've become a shadow on the ground.
Do you love me now?
Wispy and grey.
Crinkled and frayed.
I'm your beaten kite.
Paper and grey.
I'm on display.
