Christmas Eyes and Coffee

Christmas Eyes and Coffee

A Poem by Lady M

I don't know how many shades to show it.
I don't know the words.
I just blow it.
You're the scare tissue stitched into my heart.
Oxygen in my breath.
Pockets in my lungs.
You're the pretty pictures painted in my skull.
Diamonds in my eyes.
My golden starlight.

Be the wine in my blood
and the love in my shot-glass.

I'll be the flame in the flick of your lighter,
and the kick in your cigarette.

We look so good in leather jackets.
