Dreamgirl

A Poem by Mry

What can I say

that will make you

go away?

Little girl

shadowed with ashes,

what will make you

go away?

Instead of fire

there should be flowers

in your hair...

This is amazing, quite sad as well. Well written.

I love it. There is a mystery about it and yet it is presented in simplicity. The sence of peace is gone, even in dreams.

This was really gripping for me. It has a real sense of sadness. I loved the last three lines, they were very visual and really gave me a feeling of longing for innocence, kind of. I liked how much this poem made me think. Nicely done.
