My God has not one nameA Poem by Mrudula RaniYou cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself- swami Vivekananda
My God has not one but sobriquets a million,
answers to all and every one of the appellation. My God hests no proof of liveries of my troth, For my liturgy cantillates all its strength. God queries no sacrifices or luxurious donation, Divvying certitude appeases God I reckon... For I know by the joy that brims my heart at alength, when I extend a hand to any living in dearth. My God yens no wars in the name of persuasion. For he bestowed us ardor, an extraordinary possession, to discern and resolve our differences, Only with comity construe reverence. My God pledges no glories of afterlife temptations. For life is terse to waste on hebetated anticipations, Faith you follow is mightier than the others' is a self-deception. and to prove warring does demise and destruction. I accredit we can do right by God without contention, for God is love, hope and an infinite inspiration. God is here and now, God is within us; the goodness. God is eternal fulgor in many forms and naams to infer esse. © 2019 Mrudula RaniAuthor's Note
