I can't do it. From paper to computer to you. My eyes are deteriorating, and my fingers are too big. I can write these little reviews, argue with auto correct, but no creativity is there. So, I agree with everything you have said, but not so eloquently. Starting to think I'm becoming a dinosaur, dear Mradula. See, I've typed your name wrong. Point made.

I like this! For me, it's a mix really, though I'll admit I prefer the computer over mobile 'cause the former provides me more concentration while writing.
I really like how you phrased this, esp 'banana-fingers' ;P
I can't stand the autocorrect either but I put it off so that solved the problem hahah!

yes that damn auto-correct often corrects what we have written with poetic license even if we don't want it to.
i got a kick out of this...read the fourth line different ways, several times...and feel you meant "its" instead of "it's" ---
I don't even own a cell phone, only have this computer. I used to write lots of poems on napkins as I was cooking pizzas in our restaurant years ago...in between pulling and slicing them.
counter top poems....guess I am a relic.

Not bragging, I just love that you’ve written an ode to the phone typer. My computer broke several years ago and I got in the habit of writing on my phone then, and I’ve just done it ever since.

I won’t say I don’t make (lots) of mistakes, but it sure is convenient to be able to write whenever and wherever.

Love the way you’ve approached the topic, Mrudula. Banana-fingers is a nice touch! My favorite descriptor in the poem.

You are excellent at writing on your phone Eilis. portability is one of the biggest advantage of the iPhone. The tiny keyboard and the print makes me frustrated very much, lately I worry that I will be cross-eyed soon staring at that tiny screen. Thank you for this lovely review.

I write on everything... old menus, bills, napkins, paper plates whatever that will take ink. I however cannot write on my phone, it may be a smart phone but it has a dumb user, so my desk is a flutter with debris with notes in them eventually they coalesce into sentences and then i sentence them to stanzas and eventually a completed thought (theoretically!) Your special language always excites me in your writes I love the word irascible by the way. I tease my staff for there tiny keyboard dexterity when i watch them but inside the tease is a bit of jealousy :)

Ive written 90 percent of my stuff starting from way to go (earlier pieces to a few months ago on my i phone,the screen is small and its hard but i loved to write so much that i did it.
Now I use a small mini lap top much easier I must say to touch type.

I can't do that Mrudula. I have to wait for the computer. My phone has a habit of putting its own text in and driving me up the wall. Plus the font is always far too small. I do not have the skills of the younger generation, so bow to them with their nimble fingers. Love your use of language again here.

No it was one of the stupid ones > did what it wanted rang the wrong people

Swapped if for a mobile "brick" that does what I ask for it to do

I really want to know who came up with that name, Smart phone"? I believe it has mind of its own and never agrees with mine. We are in carnival period here and just about every one goes to street carnival gets their phone robbed ( 600 complaints in one place, in São Paulo). Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
