I see that lovely flotilla of poly in my mind every time i have to buy something in plastic! I shudder as a person that owns a restaurant i am forced to buy things that i don't want to all of the time. To assuage my guilt I recycle like a madman and use my food waste in a local urban garden and land reclamation program and all of my cuttings go to a worm farm. but its not enough we need to be able to replace these plastic poisons. so much in so few words in this Mrudula!

I clicked on this one because I once wrote a piece called factictional, which was about making up your own wordables when your head think thing be brokened....but am impressed nonetheless, with the punch your words packed into such limited space. We really should clean up our own mess, but as usual, its out of sight, out of mind. Trouble is, we can all see it now and still we just stare blankly.
Sometimes I think we deserve to be evicted from earth. See how we get on then :)
Powerful words.

Where can we go if we get evicted from earth? We have gotten such a bad reputation as exploiters.
oh my...we do pollute that which is given to us so pure.

I once saw a show on TV about garbage that finds itself out in sea. Now each time I throw away those plastic rings (or yokes) that hold cans together I cut them up before throwing them away.

Imagine eating the plastic bottle you threw into the sea.
Because at some point that's what you're going to do when the fish is on the plate. Plastic is a bloody scourge now.

You are welcome my friend.
A first class, skilled even though brief warning to the Human world. Mankind no longer rules the sea, it wants to destroy it in and with selfish indifference. Polyethylene is a killer and there are others, far more others. Brava!

That is the best and only option we have now my friend.
we all need to do something about our carbon footprint... plastics, once hailed as some kind of universal panacea... now the scourge of the planet and responsible for the death and destruction not only of so many species of aquatic life but also of their habitat.... a much needed and perfectly formed little rant... and another thing.. you just proved that size does not mean everything M...........
