Eupnea

Eupnea

A Poem by Mrudula Rani

Earth administered
gulps of telluric fragrance
as spring spits pullulated.

Your posted image shows one really heavy blanket of cloud hovering, about to break forth in torrents over your city. It is a perfect match for your words Mrudula. You bring the cusp of spring to me and that is my favourite season. We are in the grip of winter here, so have a way to go yet. All good wishes.

The same to you Mrudula, and your loved ones. Have fun and all the best for 2019.
It's nice to know that your rainforest keeps the earth alive.
But I hear deforestation is changing this.
I should say stop it.
But since we industrialized over a hundred years ago, I won't.
Great photo. Still sunny.

You too, Mrudula. Hope Santa is good to you.
What a very moody photo to accompany your poem. I love the way the clouds seem to be swallowing the city.

What I enjoyed most about this poem is that it contrasts so much with what I’m seeing where I am. The dream of spring hasn’t started to tease me yet, I’m still in my nostalgic state for winter.

But, your poem does a lovely job of tapping me on the shoulder and reminding me of the spring-longings of late winter.

Spring in all its blooming glory is a sight I never tire of beholding. I love the way you’ve personified the earth and its season here. Lovely work, Mrudula.

Earth for sure has its own fragrances as it ushers in the spring of life. We all come to celebrate and administer our affairs that we share. Very strong brevity with word class choices.
