Benefaction

Benefaction

A Poem by Mrudula Rani

Gift of splendor,
Aids him excel with effluence.
Gift of splendor,
Transforms him ocean's tormentor.
Lovers bid him to revive romance,
Galant celestial assistance;
Gift of splendor.

Thank you. dear jimmy, you are very kind.
I like the mechanics of the poem. Love your use of language. I am having trouble with the use of "him" in lines 2 and 4 though. It makes those lines stutter to my ear when read aloud. Another good one.

The wonder of Benefaction is that it wears many coats... and thus, fits all those, like Self, who need assurance that - who, how and what we believe in, MATTERS. Your brief poem is majestic.. wonderful, Mrudula.

Thank you dear Emmajoy. Your reviews are a treat and I appreciate them very much.
I think we all have gifts hidden somewhere.
If one of those gifts changed us overnight.
That would be our splendor.

A personal splendor of our own to excel!
This one could be taken many ways, that is one of the things that makes it so great. I like to think that the gifts of splendor we are given, if used to their fullest potential make the world a better place all the way around, regardless of who gave the gift. Really good piece!!!!
