Please tell meA Poem by Mrudula Rani
Please tell me why do we still tolerate trophy hunts
and rides on elephants? Even after we have the knowledge of animal psychology. Please tell me that gun stores do display warnings; " guns and hate don't go hand in hand, people with guns can kill and destroy families". Please tell me not all auto repair shops for automobiles are run by con artists, " leave the car, when the job's done we will phone you" is a standard advice? (He handed a piece and said he changed it, and charged a bundle! I found the same piece last week when I opened the grinder!) Please tell me why all the ATM's biometrics can't read the same fingerprints? Please tell me why your silence pains me more than your sarcasm? Please tell me why sad songs and sound of your voice leave me hankering for tight embraces? Please tell me why romance is so imperative for the happiness of my heart? Please tell me why I have an urge to put a paper bag over my head and sit in the corner and be invisible, when I feel I have over stated my mind or under appreciated your hand. © 2018 Mrudula RaniReviews
