To hell in a hand basket.1A Poem by Mrudula Rani
I counted my stars when you walked out.
Do you wonder what ever happened to the love you said mine? It all went to hell in a hand basket. Do you wonder why I never called you to fight you with a new girl, stealing glances to see if Iam fine, I counted my stars when you walked out. I still find you lingering in my thoughts, When you kiss her lips do you remember mine? It all went to hell in a hand basket? All those hopes and dreams you spoke like you meant, When you brush hair off her face do you see mine? I counted my stars when you walked out. Was there ever a time you were real in our past? the memories of holding me under the stars and moon, It all went to hell in a hand basket! You are a thing of my past I don't want to rewrite. What goes around, comes around. You will have your share of pain I counted my stars when you walked out. It all went to hell in a hand basket ! © 2018 Mrudula RaniReviews
