Filtered emotions
In to perfect portions,
Packaged sentiments
Like an essence of exotic sorts,
Poured mind and heart,
Gave nuance to feel,
In trademark style!
Stuck a label; the title.
A pretty picture as well!
Pasted, and displayed it on line,
Expecting it speaks to some one!
And get reviews in return!

I echo Barleygirl's words. We definitely have an on-line persona, which is a lot easier to cope with than the 'real macoy'! The line 'Expecting it speaks to some one' is very apt. Although I suspect that most of us write for ourselves too. Loved you word 'picture'.

I haven't been writing on line very long ( mostly on any thing I get my hands on with a pen I used to scribble) so for me it is a new concept I.e. " on line persona"! Seems like a subject we should write about it! Thank you Great A for the idea.

Well, I wish you every best wish, and enjoy what you do. I have 'experimented' in many different styles and subject matter, because I enjoy learning. But sometimes, for some, it might be best to develop a style that is distinctly theirs. I am so glad you have come to the on line community. I shall actually be coming off soon ... getting too old and making mistakes. But I shall continue to drop in now and again, for a while.

Here you have perfectly painted a picture of how it can go with those of us who do so much of our communicating online. We really do form an online personality that's nothing like what it means to actually interact in person. It's so much easier, hopefully, becuz we have our pre-determined persona here online, whereas in person we may be prone to total unpredictability! *smile* Online we can skip the arguments & just focus on the good feelings. Querida Margie,the online persona of most us is only an extension of our personality I believe. But very rarely I see consistency in that side of personality. There are very few I can count on for being always in the same wonderful mood, and give support as you do, and I believe it is a virtue I appreciate very much. Um beijo

Thank you, I appreciate that very much. When I do online reviewing here, it is a way for me to have meaning in my life, whereas I am otherwise mostly alone & not thinking or talking to anyone. My reviewing sessions add structure to my life, otherwise my days would just pass by without anything to remember! I'm really doing this as a way to survive!
