Pied piperA Poem by Mrudula Rani
You bait with your sweet talk!
And you leave me a wreck, I can't undo your tricks, Desire to flee I lack. Your endless charms Pull me to you closer, Then you toss me into despair, And leave me aside as a spare. You make me forget who I am! And abandon me in storms. Your promise of romance, Is around my neck a noose! So much a soul can tolerate, My patience has reached its limit. No more of me is for your fun. I am breaking free soon... ....after one last glimpse of you I will be gone! © 2018 Mrudula RaniAuthor's Note
