Alone Without LoveA Poem by Amanda Mae MacInnis
If somebody dies of a broken heart
Does their soul ever heal, lost and apart Why is it that life has such misery and pain When what we give up aint worth what little we gain How come dying lasts long but death is quick Like a burning candle robbed of its wick Some days I wanna give up and just drop to my knees It'd be a lot easier without everyone to please You see, I don't wanna die, but can't seem to live I can't find happiness so what good can I give I'm all bottled up just begging to burst Life kept to myself is death only worse © 2014 Amanda Mae MacInnisFeatured Review
