Who Would Miss You?

Who Would Miss You?

A Poem by Mrs.Sophrosyne
"

I know now that I make myself who I am. I make the choices; they don't make me. When I f**k up, it's me, not the cards I was dealt, not the weather, no one but me can make me live my life but me.

"
Who would miss me
If I disappeared?
Who would wonder where I'd gone,
When I'm not here?
Who would lay awake
wondering if I'm alright?
Who would ask about me
If I stopped coming around?
Who would remember me
as the years drag on?
Who would clean off my grave,
when it's covered with ash?
Who could remember one,
so alone in this world?
Who would care enough,
to miss the broken girl?

I would miss you,
If you disappeared
I would search until I found you,
If you weren't here
I would toss and turn
the whole night through
I would search all night long
to bring you back around
I would remember
and weep for wasted time
I would keep vigil
by your cold, dark grave.
I would remember you.
I would care,
because you're not the only one

We're all broken

I would miss you

Author's Note

Mrs.Sophrosyne
To anyone out there thinking about suicide, I know nothing I say is making it through. Theres no way for me to stop you. Nothing I do can make it better. Nothing I can say will make the hurting stop. Life, hurts. Loving someone, hurts. Letting people get close, hurts. Nothing I say or do will make u see any different, only you can do that. We're all a little chipped, a little banged up, a little damaged, we just all have to learn what peices we need to move on and those r the peices we glue back together. they dont need to fit right, and it doesnt have to be all butterflies and unicorns, it's not pleasant. It's not fun. It's life. But it is all worth it. Regardless of age, gender, race, creed, sexual orientation... Despite any obstacle you face in your life. IT GETS BETTER. And if nothing but this gets through, know that, I may not know you, I may never meet you, I may never see your face or hear your voice, but I care about you and I would miss you if you disappeared. trust me, IT GETS BETTER.
-Love,
A Survivor
