It all seems much better

When the lights are dimmed

My life seems so easy

When I'm with him

But the lights come on

And he has to go

I can't do this

Any more

You'll leave me before the sun can rise

You hold me tight and I close my eyes

You'll leave me before I wake up

And you'll be gone now,

Once again

And I know now

The light plays tricks

I can't count on you

When I need my fix

So turn the lights on

It's time to go home

I can do this
