Leaving Home for GoodA Poem by Mrs.Sophrosyne05/01/11 Title image by Siwiel (http://siwiel.deviantart.com/)
I always thought I'd live here
For the rest of my life Settle down with a family, Be someones little wife. Thought I'd die in this ol town This sleepy little place Where I'd wake up every morning To your familiar face I thought I'd be the one to stay behind When you went off to school That I'd be the one to stay up late While you partied and acted cool But I guess that's not meant to be Cause I'm moving away And now that I can escape You can't make me stay
