Scapegoat BoyA Poem by Mrs.Sophrosyne04/08/2011 Title image by xXxyasminaxXx (http://xxxyasminaxxx.deviantart.com/)
I was told you were a fragile one,
Asked not to break your heart; But I'm one to push the limits, Boy, I've known it from the start I caught you in the cross-hairs, I had you in my sight. You never had a chance, Boy, To run from me that night I had to see for myself How tender love could be I had to make you fall, Boy, And you sure fell for me I saw you as an angel Too damn pure and clean. I wanted you to know me, Boy, And how my heart turned mean. I wanted you to understand, To see the darkness here. I wanted you to hurt, Boy, I wanted to taste your fear. You innocence bewitched me, Your youth pulled me in. I knew that I could have you, Boy, I knew that I could win. I didn't want to be alone, I wanted you like me. But I could not predict, Boy, How easy it would be. And now I see you everyday, See my pain within your eyes. You're now mine forever, Boy, 'Cuz you believe me when I lied. Now, I have to thank you, Because you've set me free. My burden is now yours, Boy, Because you fell for me. © 2011 Mrs.SophrosyneAuthor's Note
