Bound by Chains

Of moral steel

Caged like birds

And forced to kneel

Tied in knots

Of lies not true

Black and white

No skies of blue

Forced to hear

But never know

Feel the hate

We cannot show

Envy the birds

With reign of the sky

But even they're trapped

Doomed just to fly

Never to rest 

Never come home 

Forced for all time

Cursed to roam

There's no hope 

Oppress the whole

Just bear the yoke

Surrender your soul

Give in to the masses

Don't try to stand out 

Give up emotions

Give up your pain and your doubt

Accept the standard

Shun individuality

We are one, not many

Embrace a false reality

Become just one more

Just a face in the crowd

You cannot be different

Thats just not allowed
