Queen of HeartsA Poem by Mrs.Sophrosyne11/20/09 Title image by livingdead01 http://livingdead01.deviantart.com/The queen, the queen, The Queen of Hearts, She’s stolen them all away. She stole them all, Heart, body, and soul, Until their dying day The queen, the queen, The Bloody Queen, Dance ‘round the pits of Hell, She’s led them there, And they joyfully went, As more in love they fell. The queen, the queen, The Lovely Queen She has followers both young and old, The king is stupid, And the jokers a fool, And both do as they’re told. The queen, the queen, The Queen of Hearts, She’s spun delusions ‘round their heads, They played her game, And lost the same, And stayed as her posion spreads. The queen the queen, Come hail the Queen, Oh, the stories she has to tell, Of the days she danced, And the nights she wept, As she led the dance to Hell. © 2010 Mrs.SophrosyneAuthor's Note
