New Life

New Life

A Poem by Mrs.Sophrosyne
"

Gods gift of life 8/4/2010

"

How sweetly does a butterfly take flight

When trapped within the darkness of the night?

How brilliant shines the sun when falls upon

Life springing fresh before the coming dawn?

How narrow the path traversed doth seem

When good fortune seem just but a dream?

And how graciously bestowed life must be

For God to have answered my desperate plea

For the Creator to have bowed his head for mine

And given life where life we could not find

So blessed be this future we now hold

In the form of a child we must mold

How precious is the gift of a child, and how appropriate to mention that it is granted us by the grace of God.

I like the rhythm of this poem. Remember with every choice you risk the life you would have had; with every decision, you lose it
