Small Places, Big Thoughts

Small Places, Big Thoughts

A Poem by Mrs MelRose
"

Struggles that make sunshine

"
Sitting in a small corner
Bible in hand, tablet nearby
Trying to find a quiet spot
To study

Two TVs, three people
One bedroom, one couch
And one small spot
To study

Focusing on the important things
Making sure of the things needed
Having everything you need
And only the most important things you want

Taking in the sunshine
Whenever possible
Alone in nature with Jehovah
Pondering over my favorite pieces of creation

Music to reach my heart
Carving rivers in my mind
Feeling Jehovah's love
As the melodies fill my ears

Nothing very exciting
For anyone on the outside looking in
All the non-essential essentials
Are only wants an things that require time

You can not understand my small spaces
The quiet spots I take my leave to
But what may seem like empty dreams
Are big thoughts and an open heart just waiting

I don't need a big space
Or a lot of stuff
All I need is Jehovah and my dreams
For my joy lies within them
