Honeymoon

Honeymoon

A Poem by Kate Howell

The wedding day is over,
but the fun has just begun,
off on your honeymoon,
with that special someone.

Peace and tranquil,
just you two,
romantic nights and gestures,
through and through.

A Bunch of roses,
A Chocolate box,
Candles on the bedside,
He cunning like a fox.

Romantic days out,
Romantic nights to,
Spas and a Sauna,
Dinner just for two.

Skinny dipping in the sea,
laying on the beach,
Cuddling under the stars,
Dreams beyond our reach.
