Waving goodbyeA Poem by Kate Howell
26th of august 2010
the day god took you for a hand to lend I miss you even though you drove me around the bend, He took the best angel there could possibly be I knew you were an angel, from the day you first cuddled me you're now out of pain and misery and what lies under my smile is a mystery I get told to put on a brave face because it's the simplest way to embrace I hope one day I wake up, this was all a dream because this feeling is getting way beyond extreme in the letter you wrote me you said not to grieve but I swear that word is just make believe How dare you leave my side just as I was on a bumpy ride when I needed you most you turned into a ghost now i'm waving goodbye tear drops stroll down my cheek people begin to think i'm a freak but they dont know why i'm hurting this way and memories are starting to rot like decay just remember how much you mean to me, while your living happy and freely the pain is begining to show as i'm feeling so damn low How dare you leave my side just as I was on a bumpy ride when I needed you most you turned into a ghost now i'm waving goodbye © 2013 Kate HowellReviews

A husband, a child and a loving family home. Hope you enjoy.. more..Writing
