Shadow

Shadow

A Poem by Helena
"

Sometimes my mind pictures such weird scenes and i cant help writing them down ))

"

Late night and the Moon and the streets are so dark

You are walking home through a lonely park

Thinking about the day, that you had

And planning tomorrows’ day ahead…

You are walking slowly, will be home soon,

There is no one there, but you and the moon.

And off you go with the thoughts in mind

There are still so many answers to find.

So you walk slowly, but you make a stop,

Coz it seems like you noticed a shadow to walk…

And it walks behind, not far from you

And you realize its approaching you!!!

You start walking faster, but its reaching too…

This is when your heartbeat is betraying you!

You are pretty scared and panic a bit

Wish you would have a flash to lit!!

You take your mobile, as if you are talking

Waiting a while, shadow keeps walking!

Of course you don’t even dare to look back,

Now you know what is a panic attack !!

But the shadow keeps walking right behind you,

You ask yourself is it really true??

Your mind is picturing the worst,

When you realize, you are totally lost!

You walked the wrong way, the park is gone

Now the shadow will have the “FUN”

Now you are such an easy prey

Yow wants to look back and may be to pray!

The shadow is still there, but what it wants?

It seems to follow but never too close…

So you look back, with fear in your eyes

And your heart is nothing but a piece of ice…

As you look back, you can’t believe

There is no one there… did the shadow leave?

Were you hallucinating? Did you go insane?

U can’t believe, you look back again.

No there is no one and you feel so lost

Afraid to think, you have seen a ghost.

So you get back to the way home

Hardly remembering where are you from…

As you walk into your small flat

You see in the darkness a tall siluette

The eyes are burning with a red light

Staring at you from the other side

Scared to move but you turn the light on

And the evil shadow is again gone…
