Imaginary

Imaginary

A Poem by Aurora Rose
"

" let your imagination run wild"

"

Lets grab the magick carpet and ride into the lapis skies

Screw traveling to new countries and new cities

I want to go to places we never actually gone too

I want to see other planets and universes too

Lets paint the skies with our imagination

Lets take over the world!!

We live in a colorless society and we are the crayons

Let our hearts soar for they can not be contained

We fly into indigos, violets, and royal blue

Speak a language that’s never been heard of..

A place where the trees whisper secrets  and raindrops tell a story

Where there is paper flowers , and clouds made of a lovely lullaby

Dreaming in the essence of soft pink, and periwinkle blue

There is no end to what we can do!

I loved the childish and lively feel of this poem.
It really brought me back to when I was five years old and believed in toilet fairies...
Sadly, I'm not kidding.
I adore poems about imagination and childhood, so this gains a well done from me!
Good tone, vocabulary (such expressive descriptions!) and a brilliantly well suited picture to top it off.
A+!
