Your my friend.. no price tag on you

This s**t needs to end

Your lovable, cuddly, and cute

Your not meant to be used for food

When will this torment end

When we realize that we are eating our friends!!

Crazy to think we all deserve respect

Society labels us .. Puts us in a corner

It’s extreme! Its insane!!

I think 10 pills a day is insane

Put on the table cut open to your throat..

The same thing we do to our beloved Billy goats

Its sad to think we are the animals

Trying to take what’s intangible

Don’t hate just give it a try…

For we are saving more than just animals lives…

Former vegetarian here. I still try to shorten my meat consumption too any chance I get. I know that is probably not good enough, but I love this poem, regardless of my diet. For what it's worth I think killing turkeys so we can have them one time a year is the worst thing about modern society.
