Strength

I've been branded and labeled
Tagged and abused
Twisted,tempted
Then lied to and used
I've been brushed to the side
With my heart on my sleeve
Spoken to words you can never retrieve
I've been thrown out,sold out
Betrayed by a friend
Tested and broken
Again and again
I've been pushed to the edge
Then left there to die
All this and still
I can hold my head high
