NoWorries

A Poem by Mr. Lopez

I drank from pools of deep duress
But suffered only little stress
In my reflection crystal clear
I saw that I was free of fear

Although the mass could not have guessed
There were no signs I was depressed
I then picked fruit from trees of hate
Then realized that it was bait

I went to cafe' "Here We Grieve "
But laughed so much was asked to leave
And when I tried to find despair
I couldn't find it anywhere

A dealer sold me some distraught
It turns out it was joy I bought
I even tried some selfish tea
But it did not appeal to me

In bed that night I slept so well
Because I had been freed from hell
So almost it's as if to say
I'll worry not in any way
