A day at the park's fountain

A day at the park's fountain

A Poem by MrKnowAll

Today, this hot summer day,  I sit near the fountain in my favorite park,
dreaming of wild adventures with the girl I'm in love.

I always say : "Don't expect too much" , but today, this hot summer day,
I remember stories and tales.

The kids in the park tend to wreck anything that is in their way,
but today, this hot summer day, they play the songs of youth in such manner
that I envy what is long gone and what is yet to become.

I can't say this is perfection in it's form, but I felt like this is something worth posting.
