Motion Pictures

A Poem by MrKnowAll

Chairs and tables changing places,
papers filled and filed,
all around motion.

My pen stays the same,
unmoved , untouched,
resembles something I wish I hadn't asked.

I can't seem to find my blueprint,
stolen? lost? gone forever?

From there to there,
my heart pumping blood,
but my soul -  the same.

You got it. All around changes , but the hero of the poem just stands in one place, never changes.
