But to be honest, it actually has to do with a historical event. I wont detail much because I don't want to ruin people's interpretations. (Have no problem explaining to you via PM )
Anyway, good job working that out, and thanks for reading and taking your time on reviewing :)

I think it deals with two possible situations:
1. maybe it's about a father, who is an alcoholic, and on one of his drinkings had a rage attack on his child. When he gets sober, he looks out the window and sees his little boy leaving the house, and also sees his reflection on the window- a fat man- and he is all remorseful for what he has become.
2. If relating to the poem in a more psychological way- maybe it's like the first interpretation, but instead of the fact this man is a father- the little boy is actually the pure and innocent part that lies within this man- and when he sees his reflection in the window he sees what he has become and therefore loss his innocence- and the little boy in him goes away and disappears.

I really liked your interpretation . The best one I think is the second one. It applies directly.
death. suicide. something like that. the man died and his fatness represents his knowledge, like Buddha, and the little boy is an angel leading him to Heaven, or Hell. (Suicide doesn't get you into Heaven you know). I like how short this is, it leaves much to the imagination. Great job :)

The main character is "the mighty one," so I am thinking that he is seeking some kind of power, or takes justice in his hands, or sees himself as superior to others. It seems like the fat man and the little boy leaving are actually being freed, while the "mighty one" is actually trapped inside looking out the window and sitting with his regret. Did the main character kill the man and the boy? I'm intrigued - I want to know what the story behind this is!
