Heaven

A man finds himself in heaven and is in awe of the beauty, and finally feeling at peace with himself.

 Heaven...i never thought that me....someone like...me...would be placed into a place of such serenity. I walk among tall wheat, listening to the low hum of soft and delicate music....so beautiful...my hands pass over the wheat, and I'm actually able to feel this...incredible...i thought I would be souring in clouds, but this...this is so much more beautiful.

Children laughing, playing among this vast open world....playing tag by an immense body of water, so clear that you can see to the bottom...fish of so many different colors....colors I never knew existed...i felt....no...pressure...for the first time...no worries...no dead lines...nothing...just...peace...at long last.

I stood there in this euphoria, taking in the beauty of a world that I thought never existed...when I felt a touch on my hand...i looked over my shoulder to her...no names came to my mind...names just felt...like they didn't belong here...only...feeling...she looked into my eyes with those beautiful big brown eyes....skin...untouched by sun...pure...and perfect....she reached up to my face, and brushed her hand over my hair, and whispered...in a voice so perfect...so soft...so beautiful..“welcome home.”
