Dialogue Assignment

“Did you set up our Y membership today?” asked my brother John.

“Which membership?” I said sarcastically.

“Seriously, this is taking way too long”

“I handed in the papers like 2 weeks ago, I’m just waiting for it to go through”

“You didn’t ask your boss?”

“She wasn’t in today”

“Can you just call or email her? I’ll do it if I have to I’ve been wanting to swim for so long”

“Yeah maybe”

“So you’ll call?”

“Uh yeah if I have the time”

“You seem like you have some free time now”

“I have a lot on my plate John” I ironically remarked.

“Are you intimidated my her?”

“What? No, we talk all the time”

“Is she attractive?”

“I don’t see how this pertains”

“It might pertain to why you won’t ask”

“It has nothing to do with it”

“If you’re not gonna call then I will”

“Go ahead”
