I'm A HazardA Poem by The Elusive Mr Dunne"I'm A Hazard" It's truth that I speak, so people group cause they're weak/ A few verse every week, and it's havoc that I wreak I'm a hazard, I go deep, feeling flattered when they hate/ Feeling knackered when I sleep, and on the page I'm awake On my page is where they hate, and on the hate I get high/ There's not a poet that I fear, whether in a grave or alive Everyday when I rhyme, I can feel this feeling inside/ Like it ain't my mind when I write, like a writer who died Being this ahead of my time, I had to stop for a snooze/ I tend to behead em in rhyme, then look for the proof When it's truth that you rhyme, they'll despise your work/ They'll call it a crime, whilst they go work for their worth Since my birth I've been hurt, so to merk is what I do/ I murder with these verses, and I supply the hearse too I was the first to get banned, for these words that I write/ What they planned went out the window, like a bird taking flight.
