Anxiety and DepressionA Poem by The Elusive Mr DunneAnxiety and Depression"Anxiety and Depression" Anxiety flowing through my body, I can feel it in my veins/ This depression cannot catch my body, I cannot die in vain I do not know a single body, who could survive all my pain/ Lord I beg you catch my body, before they come for my reign This is my migraine, my train and my train journey/ Sticks and stones break bones, but names cannot hurt me Can't out word me, with nursery, rhymes and try merk me/ When everytime I rhyme, each line, a burn like third degree I use a verse to set me free, like a wild bird who is caged/ They took my child and my smile, but I can fly on this page I wish I could fly away, back to them days she was three/ Though that is all just a dream, being she is nearly sixteen Missed ten years of her life, yet they feel they can smirk/ Only reason they're alive, is cause my child is on this earth My life's got a lot better, though the pain has got a lot worse/ Hence why I'm writing this letter, in the hope my prayer works.
