The art of silenceA Poem by Mr Whiskers
My heart was pounding out a code
and so my eyes were overflowed You did not see my tears that fell or the fact I had no voice to yell A useless shout dribbled over my chin in the form of a whimper quiet and thin My eyes that were red and blurry now distant A split second of thought and my head was vacant Tingles like tiny flash-bangs in my brain Exploding and causing my face to drain of blood, of tears and all sensation Foggy and numb for your declaration © 2010 Mr WhiskersAuthor's Note
