Holding me, this boy

Holding me, this boy

A Poem by Mr Whiskers
"

idk about the title, I did't really have one.

"
Where have you been
This boy crying on my shoulder
reminds me of the night I found you
Tear-streaked and anguished
over a crushed guitar
I took you into my arms
......and you sobbed
Long minutes carved into my memory
as you related to me your pain
Monumental this hurt that still burns
deep inside me. Such truth
in the tears, so much you
that you let me hold onto.
I was the arms
wrapped around you that night
Lending my strength over your crumbled wall
We both needed each other
(Then and Now and Ever)
And why had it gone?
I wonder why now;
And still we hold on
Tightly we squeeze our bodies together
in this new pain So fresh in our sorrow--
Weeping, My body convulses, wracked
with sobs I can only give to you
You don't let me turn away
This night now, you are strong enough
to hold me here.
I cannot turn away
Curled low over the ache of release
I feel safe in the arms wrapping me
Somewhere vague I ask myself
only How long can Now last,
How strong can We be
