(Inner) Voice

A Poem by Justin

Slaves to society, a haze of delusions.

Conclusions are imminent, you are conforming.

Ignoring the call of the soul, a call from the hole in your heart.

Quick-start the car, motorized emotions.

Mechanical enemies, homegrown remedies.

I dig the truth and illusion that is presented in this. Some ways this reminds me of a bit of Voltaire and Jefferson. Not bad fella.

Just a great write yes. Again.
You speak such a truth.
It makes me give rushed visions,
Of hitting a Starbucks and drinking
Coffee standed, on a early morning,
While you should sit, and talk,
and share some good moments,
And start the day as it should...
European like lol...

Glad to have read this.
Great metaphors.
