Deadweight

A Story by Mr. Malarkey
"

A short introspective of demotivation

"
The week flies by and nothing happens. I awaken, indulge in meaningless entertainment, rest, work, and repeat. No closer to any of my goals and no will to fight on. Like a stalled engine: Dead and unable to move forward. Stagnating goals gives rise to guilt. With enough guilt as fuel, I may yet kick-start my routine and find a way to get past the obstacle that led to this funk.

Oh, so you have trouble with motivation, too. I think you're right that guilt, when piled high enough, may force us into action. Away with the funk!
