On Nostalgia

On Nostalgia

A Poem by MrJohn
"

shouldn't need one if its any good

"
On Nostalgia

Ahh, nostalgia!

She beckons
with soft memories...
cleansing them
with denial  and...

She weaves
with silvery strands
of forgotten dreams
crying for life

and then...and then

 She tempts me
with if onlys, and
what ifs,   seeking
lost hope.

SHE LIES!      Yes, she lies...but oh so sweetly!
