SideKick Moment 05.21.09A Poem by JasonThis piece is for Lady V, she doesn't know about it either, so i hope she likes it.
The Strongest Black Woman I know
Even though I know you died inside
I’m sure when you were alone you cried
I can imagine the bone chillin’ scream of
“Oh God Nooo”
When you heard what can have only been a lie
The anger that comes with thoughts of revenge
The frustration of having to relive those dreadful moments
Over and over to find worldly justice
And finally a peace that came with
Knowing that He may not have come when you called
But was right on time
With a conscience that was heavy with guilt
So the verdict was the same
Still the scars will forever remain
Drowned out by the light of
The Strongest Black Woman I know
