A Poem by Jason
"

This piece is for Lady V, she doesn't know about it either, so i hope she likes it.

"

The Strongest Black Woman I know
Even though I know you died inside
I’m sure when you were alone you cried
I can imagine the bone chillin’ scream of
“Oh God Nooo”
When you heard what can have only been a lie
The anger that comes with thoughts of revenge
The frustration of having to relive those dreadful moments
Over and over to find worldly justice
And finally a peace that came with
Knowing that He may not have come when you called
But was right on time
With a conscience that was heavy with guilt
So the verdict was the same
Still the scars will forever remain
Drowned out by the light of
The Strongest Black Woman I know

Awh. This is beautiful and greatly appreciated. You have become a great and true friend. I mean that with all my heart.

Drowned out by the light
of the Strongest Black Woman I Know

I have come through alot of things and by far this has been the hardset. Yet with every situation comes a lesson. We may not see it but we always feel it.

Thank you Mr. Scott.

Its wonderful when poets can support each other s with what we love the most...words! Great piece! Hey Lady V don't forget about me where are you?

I read this because you requested me to and I wanted to be a supporter to your writing. At first i didn't quite get the meaning of your words but only saw them as hidden and locked. Then you showed us that the key to understanding was to read 'I Am...'
I did....
It was... awakening.
Now I come back again with the scale removed from my eyes and I can see the true meaning...and I can now appreciate your write. It was beautiful. Thank you for encouraging Lady V, though I know her not. her words were inspiration ... yours were... consolation.
Thank you again...

As a survivor, I get it. I AM is a great awareness write, and this is a solid ode to that write. We survive and become stronger for it. Nothing or no one, can take away the beauty God gave us! Thanks to you Jason, and Lady V.

Wow!! i'm sure lady v respects this piece very much. ithink i'ts so cool when a man can sense the hurt in a woman, and be inspired to write poetry about it too...yes, and her piece is awesome too. She is a strong black woman! thanks for sharing.
