Think For Yourself

Think For Yourself

A Poem by Jason

Never let yourself be manipulated.
You have a mind of your own.
If you just follow the crowd you’ll just become another clone,
A drone for someone else’s system.

Use your intelligence
To let your heart talk, ears to listen, and eyes to see the vast amounts of opportunities that lay is wait for thee.
Plant your roots deep in truth, and your branches will reach towards the sky
Then people will forever want to dwell in your shade of wisdom

Brilliant way of expressing that it's better to be different- (odd, even-or just unusual and exotic-) than to be monotonous, redundant, boring, or as you described it: a "clone".

One reason why this poem really caught my attention and got to me in a good way is that it describes exactly what I strive for.

"Think for yourself" One hell of a good piece of advice.
