No Distance To Great

This is a poem about learning to love or long distances

 

As the sounds of HalfCrazy  

Musiq resonate through my left and right ear

The story of love once again reappears

 

Bringing with it joyous memories from the past

Pleasant glimpses at the future

And easily discouraging looks at reality

 

For the weak of mind and of trust

For those that get caught up in the world wind of lust

Love over long distances is painful

Like after a good meal you get acid reflux

 

For the mind that is strengthened

And who’s trust is in the gut feeling

Of love without the veil of lust

Love is a graceful dance of two equally intelligent minds in unison.
