Hail Mary

Hail Mary

A Poem by Johnny Blade

Hell is all around, I'm the one who brought it here, you never taught me nothing, you were the reason for my fear. I used to hide and wish for death to take away the pain, a little girl left all alone, what was your f*****g gain? What did you accomplish when you broke me down inside? So alone and scared collecting scars that I can't hide. Drowning in the tears unseen, my soul can never be set free, my sins will never be washed clean, let me escape this misery. Open wounds and bloodshot eyes, demons sing me lullabies, lost within my sickened mind, what have I done to pay this price? You took away my hope, no longer can I cope, every time I take a breath on memories I choke. My life became a joke, doing heroine and coke, just to feel numb inside while my soul corrodes. This pain has to go away, so both of us will die today, a bullet deep into your brain, a needle lodged into my vein.
