Day Dream

Lately my mind has been wondering

I often catch myself drifting off into thought

My journey moving across the country often comes to mind

I’m excited on the new beginning but

It quickly turns to sadness when you come to mind

I cherish every moment that we spend together

Every chance I get I pull you close and hold you tightly

I even sneak in a kiss on your neck or forehead

Just to show you how I feel

I want to tell you how I truly feel

I want to make us a lifetime thing

I know it won’t happen because you don’t feel the same way

I hope that one day you’ll notice my love for you

I hope one day that the man you’re looking for is right in front of you

I hope you’ll notice before it’s too late
