Paramours

Paramours

A Poem by Mr.Boffin

As the Pyres flames, out by the Sea,
Reached afar;
The day-old Paindemain and tea:
Came up from the Madames bar.

And upon the table, commingling, two Stars,
Glazed saffronesque: silent Paramours.
Duelling Pearls alight as Czars -
And the clanking saucers from the once Amours.

Then softly sung, he an Aubade, for
Her softlysilken tawny
Hair -

And days past, he sits alone,
The river slinking, flowing:
Somnambulant -

This one gave me shivers. You are a fine wordsmith, Randall. Very fine. So much story and imagery with such a few lines.
