The Clerestory Window

The Clerestory Window

A Poem by Mr.Boffin

Purpureus beauty under
Sagittarius --

The Arrow under the
Waxing Moon --

Striking a chord
From aeons ago.
Echoing Tannhauser
Through trickling rain
Drops.

Up the clerestory
Window I watch
Purpureus beauty
Going to the heavens
Above.

Never thought I'd see Tannhauser outside of a classroom. Wonderful seeing it here, wonderful seeing such beautiful words and o many layers of meaning.

Learnt a new word with this one. Spiritual and natural. Another gem.

Beautiful and open write... I imagine how he has had that bow drawn for some time... that arrow must be waiting for something very special indeed...

An interesting write. Had to read it twice just to let it wash over me. Some wonderful imagery and allusions here.
