Lifes Ugly Lake

Lifes Ugly Lake

A Poem by Mr.Boffin

so i traveled down a road
which mother said
would make me frown
so i traveled down a road
and indeed did frown
and the road
meandered and tried
to make a crown
no love no lace
in the mirror
my face my frown
has gone in hast
so double back and check
but thrice
i traveled down a road
which mother said
would make me smile
and indeed i did
but smile
and then this road
meandered and i drowned
in life's lakes ugly
so i traveled down a road
